About the Committee

The Food Safety Policy Committee, or FSPC, works to address issues related to food safety throughout the state, including providing input on pending food-related legislation or supporting jurisdictions as it relates to new legislation. One of the goals is to help ensure consistent implementation and enforcement for all foo programs, such as Temporary Events, Mobile Food Facilities, Permanent Facilities and many others. The FSPC also coordinates food safety guidelines and oversee the regional Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) that support FSPC.
