About the Committee

The IT Committee meets the 3rd Wednesday at 3pm of every even numbered month. Please log in to see the meeting calendar for the current schedule, along with the agendas and minutes.

The Information Technology/Data Management Committee, or IT Committee, works to address information technology and database management systems issues, including providing input on pending IT related legislation or supporting the IT needs of new legislation. The IT Committee also provides oversight for the CCDEH/CAEHA website, membership communication listservs, and manages the IT related business needs for the organization. The committee identifies the best available, economical, and appropriate technologies to fill the organization’s mission with a focus on usability. The IT Committee also evaluates other database solutions for member agencies from an executive viewpoint and can provide assistance with collecting Request For Proposals (RFP) for members to view. Lastly, the IT Committee works with other stakeholders from the State to ensure new environmental health data requests are coordinated among interested parties. These typically include Geotracker, CERS, and any other statewide database required by State agency partners.

Video Library

Welcome to the CCDEH Video Library open to ALL REHSs. We will be providing more videos over the next year as we develop content we can share.

We have several webinars available where we can provide Continuing Education Contact Hours for your REHS certificate. The videos are FREE to watch! To obtain REHS credits we do charge $25.00 for the certificate which will be sent by email. Pay after you watch each video and complete the evaluation. If you are a CCDEH member, Michele will post your completed certificate into your member account.  If you are not a CCDEH Member, once you have completed all the video training you plan to attend and have completed all the evaluations, you can email Michele@ccdeh.com and let her know you have completed everything so she can email you the certificate of completion.

Additional videos are available on the CUPA Forum Website HERE and also on the National Environmental Health Association website HERE.

Please feel free to send us content or ideas for training videos at webmaster@ccdeh.org.
